Team Members

Mythology is made up of a group of people who believe in belief.

Developing, communicating and following through on propositions that build belief is what marketing is all about. That set of beliefs is a company’s mythology, often referred to as brand. Our team believes in building beliefs that lead to long-term profitable relationships with customers, employees and partners.

As much as we believe in belief, we also believe in discipline. We believe in measuring what matters, driving those insights into constant improvement and new innovation, and then starting over again to make it even better.

It’s the ultimate in right brain/left brain integration. Meet some of our team members:

Jeff James

Jeff is a 14-year veteran of Microsoft Corporation with deep experience in sales/marketing management to enterprise, small business, channel and consumer audiences. Jeff has led Microsoft’s Executive Circle relationship marketing program, developed national integrated demand generation programs, and lead numerous innovative marketing initiatives for Microsoft.

He has also served as Director of Marketing for FLX Corporation, a human resource software firm later purchased by Ceridian, and founded Digital Fish, an early Internet marketing services pioneer for non-profits.

Jeff has B.S. and M.S. degrees from West Virginia University and resides in Charleston, WV.
Lee Kraus

Dr. Lee Kraus helps Mythology clients empower their employees to “live the brand.” He has 14 years of experience in conceptualizing and developing instructional technology. Lee holds an Education degree from Glenville State College and graduate degrees in Instructional Technology from West Virginia University. His professional experience includes a position in Higher Education, State Government Administration, and Founder and President of an e-learning company. Lee has presented his work on topics such as training implementation, podcasting, adaptive learning, and instructional design, and has been an active Blogger since 2004.
Josie Anderson

Josie specializes in delivering strategic research analysis and provides Mythology with her broad-based financial and development experience. Josie has nearly 10 years of building relationships and analytic skills, as well expertise in creative strategies, planning and organization, economic research and development.

Josie completed her B.S. in International Business with a focus on Finance and Business Law from Illinois State University and received her M.A. in International Relations with a focus on Economic Policy and minor in Political Theory from Marshall University. Josie has a deep rooted passion to reduce economic disparity present in our world and strives to fulfill those passions by assisting businesses, employees and the community with her efforts at Mythology and various community organizations.
Beth Oppe, Ph.D.

Beth knows how to connect with communication strategies. As a Ph.D. and current marketing and communications professor at Glenville State College, she gets to explore cutting edge issues and how to cut through clutter to stick in the minds of customers. She is an excellent facilitator and helps defeat confusing messaging with clarity and purpose.

Beth is a graduate of Glenville State College (B.S.), West Virginia University (MBA) and Ohio University (Ph.D.) and resides in Charleston, WV.
