Fortune 200 $17 billion global IT consulting, outsourced management and software development company

Challenge:  

Act like a startup, launch a differentiated cloud computing initiative, and learn to engage via social media to build buzz and credibility in a totally new business.  

Solution:  

Developed foundational value proposition (“Right Cloud, Right Way”) and elevator pitch messaging to differentiate within the crowded cloud field. Working within the CSC corporate brand guidelines, developed a simple, yet complete, set of sales collateral and training tools that helped sales executives accurately position CSC Cloud Services and generate leads.

Launched a social media-savvy blog and information web site with digital content partner WELD designed to showcase  CSC thought  leadership,   generate buzz among target audiences, and   improve CSC’s search engine rankings for   select “cloud” related terms. 

Results:  

CSC, according to the President of CSC’s Managed Services business, “is now firmly established as a cloud player.” Over 15 individual sales collateral items, including intranet-based content, has empowered the vast CSC sales force to infuse cloud solutions into their daily business development.
